One of the philosophies behind our 'Sea Goddess Rituals' face and body range advocates and supports the philosophy to reduce plastics impacting our oceans.


​The occurrence of these plastics poses a threat to the marine life and the whole ocean environment.
​
So our aim is to support causes which are actively aiming to do same, whilst supporting local communities during this time when Covid and the impacts of this pandemic is challenging livelihoods. 

There has been significant efforts made in Bali generated by the local people with this project, but they need our assistance. Mary Xuereb, who assists in managing the 'Kedu Indah Stay', and a long term friend of our family, has been helping to co-ordinate efforts in the north of Bali (the Panji area), and are contributing to her efforts and that of the local Balinese community.

The Bali Plastics fundraiser project is raising funds to help collect plastics from the Panji area in north Bali, and support local communities with educational programs. This project will assist in achieving a decrease of plastics in waterways and our oceans. Our funding goal is to raise
AUD $2,000.

The Bali projects we are supporting...

• Plastics - support for  a driver to collect plastic from Northern Bali's Panji area. A truck has been sourced and the community is being asked to collect their plastic for weekly pick up. Rubbish is commonly burnt in Bali, with impacts on air quality, so this project will assist in reducing these impacts on the oceans and improve air quality for the health of the community. 
• Education - The Panji Mayer has a vehicle for school which needs a tune up and new tyres , and to buy more books as a mobile library for the kids not going to school at the moment due to Covid 19, even if it’s for reading group and they to do their own story book, ideas ​​​
