Learn what to avoid in body products. We assist you to learn about the types of body products which are free of neurotoxins, hormone disruptors and carcinogens, and which are not impactful on the natural environment. Answers to your questions around 'how (and where) to find and use healthier body product alternatives' will be shared, with the goal to create better homes and improve our impact on the natural environment. Patricia Athena and Jo Sedman are passionate about educating & sharing with others their ideas about healthy lifestyles and body care alternatives. They offer backgrounds in Environmental Science, and Health Science and Therapies, which gives them experience to answer your questions, share their stories, and hopefully to hear yours too.

'What If' You Knew About the Effects of Cleaning Products on your Health and in the Environment?
In our everyday lives we may have concerns about our environment in the home and a need to know more about the cleaning products and other products we use there.
This may have come about because of health problems and/or concern about the greater environment around us.
Jo and Patricia are presenting a talk and information sharing and leading a discussion group about your potential concerns.
Solutions to these concerns will be given with potential products and how to use them effectively to create a better home and environment.
They have backgrounds in Environmental Science, and Health Science and Therapies, that gives them experience to answer your questions, share their stories, and hope to hear yours too.
About the Facilitators:
Jo Sedman has been involved with environmental management for over 20 years, working to improve our impact on the environment through various government and community programs across Australia. She has worked in the fields of vegetation management and water quality for NGOs, Governments, and business, and has a passion for sharing information about the environment, especially around how products (cleaning and body) used in our homes and businesses can support the environment, and our health. Jo owns and manages a sustainability business (Symbietrics), based in Newcastle, which guides the community on improving their impact on nature, and the internal environment within their homes and businesses, through energy, waste and water usage education.
Patricia Morris has been involved with Health and Physical Education along with community health through schools, working with athletes, school and community groups, and as a Director of the Heart Foundation for over 40 years. She is now working in therapies involving physical, mental and emotional health. In this field she has helped many people with imbalances related to chemicals from internal and external influences. She has noticed how chemical imbalance has increasingly influenced our health.
